CAMPBELL, Susan Faye
Age 70, South Ohio, Yarmouth Co., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, Halifax. Born March 23, 1950 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Merton and Mildred (Vickery) Cook. Susan worked in the insurance industry, having worked with L.G. Trask, the Cooperators and most recently with Brokerlink in Calgary. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to Mexico with her best friend Karla and friends Audrey and Wendy, along with reading and doing crossword puzzles. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James D. Campbell; as well as by their children, Shane ( Katherine) Campbell, Dartmouth; and Jaye Campbell ( Jeff Johnston), London, Ont.; along with her precious grandchildren, Nolan and Isaac Campbell. Also surviving are brothers, John (Holly) Cook and Danny (Muriel) Cook, both of South Ohio; and sister, Angie Cook Aramini ( Jeff Aramini), Fergus, Ont. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Winnie Eckert and Margaret Macdonald. In keeping with Susan’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Due to public health restrictions during the current pandemic, a celebration of Susan’s life and burial in Lake George Cemetery will take place at a later date when family and friends are able to gather.
