WENTZELL, Daren Hubert

-

Of North Kingston, Kings Co., passed away peacefully on the morning of December 31, 2020. Born March 15, 1932 in Chester, Daren lived a full and happy life of 88 years. Daren led a life of many great accomplishments including 25 years of service in the Armed Forces as a Flight Engineer, he was a successful entrepreneur and talented craftsman. Undoubtedly though, Daren would name his family as his greatest achievement. Daren was a proud and loving father who adored and cherished his grand and great-grandchildren. Daren will be remembered for his jovial and teasing nature. Those who knew him will remember the way his eyes sparkled with mischief and his whole body lit up with laughter as he endearingly taunted those he loved the most. There will be a lot more laughter in Heaven now. Daren will certainly be remembered most for his greatest joy, the love he had for his late wife, Barbara. She was his best friend, his love, his everything. He loved her with every fiber of his being - the last beat of his heart surely beat for her. After 10 years apart, Daren and Barb’s love can finally be reunited. Their love was patient, kind, and unwavering -a true love story. Their love story will be the legacy that lives on forever through the beautiful family they built together. He is loved by so many and will be missed immensely. But we will take comfort that he was welcomed by so many he loved including his son, his beautiful greatgranddaughter and his true love. We will love and miss you always. Daren is survived by daughters, Deborah ( Don) Knudson, Sandra Wentzell and Belinda (Richard) Kerfont; six grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren; and Marilyn Conrad, his only surviving sister. Daren was predeceased by parents, Moyle and Clara (Levy) Wentzell; beloved wife, Barbara Marylin (Fraser) Wentzell; brother, Bernard Wentzell; sister, Velma Wile; son, Gregory Wentzell and great- granddaughter, Brianne Elizabeth Kahlke.
