-

We are heartbroken to share the news of the loss of our much-loved wife, mom, nanny, great-nanny, aunt, sister, cousin and friend, Ruth "Betsy" Elizabeth Feltmate. Mom passed away on May 15, 2022 in Hospice Halifax after a short illness. While we are saddened by Mom’s passing, we take comfort in knowing that she is again with her loving husband Reginald, who passed away in January 2021, and whom she missed terribly. Mom was born in Little Dover, on January 13, 1942 to the late Captain Douglas and Nora (Casey) Boudreau. While she had several jobs in her life, the one Mom was most proud of her was her long career as a nurse. Mom worked acute care, longterm care, home care and many other areas during her 40 plus years as a nurse. She was an amazing caregiver to her patients, her family and her friends. Mom will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children: daughter, Sherry (Dwayne) and their children, Jonathon, Alexander, Madison and Nolan; daughter, Lesley (Alain) and their children, Nicholas and Mathieu; son, Troy (Monica) and their son Jaxxon. Mom is also survived by her little brother, Gary Boudreau; sister-in-law, Gloria Foster; brother-in-law, Brian Feltmate; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces; special niece, Ruthanne and her best friend Diane Mackinnon. Mom was also blessed to have a special relationship with her greatgranddaughters, Neveah, Harlow and Ayla. Besides her parents and parents-inlaw, Mom was predeceased by her husband, Reginald; her brothers, Lloyd and Ronald; her sister, Shirley; brothers-in-law, Dougald, Goldwyn and Terry; sistersin-law, Winnifred and Patricia. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Sackville.
