It is with great sadness that the family of Michael James Jamieson 68, of Windsor, Hants Co., suddenly passed away on May 11, 2022, of natural causes. A lifelong resident of Windsor, Michael was born in Centrevill­e, N.B. on July 1, 1953. He was a son of the late Robert Earl Jamieson and Edith Harriet (Pannell) Jamieson. Michael is survived by his sons, Joseph (Catherine Lukeman) of Lower Sackville; Lee (Megan Gass) of Windsor; granddaugh­ter, Nicole of Ontario; brothers, Alan (Sheila) of Windsor; Roland (Pam) of Victoria, B.C.; Derrick (Lynn) of Berwick; Roy (Sue) of New Glasgow; Malcolm of New Westminste­r, B.C.; Peter (Roberta) of Halifax and Martin (Judy) of Dartmouth; sisters, Jacqueline (Richard) Demerchant of Centrevill­e, N.B.; Roberta of Kingston; Tammy Grose, Alberta. In addition, Michael will be remembered by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Michael was predecease­d by brother, Delbert. Michael dedicated his life to the trucking and logistics industry, and also to the music and sound production Industry, as a sound engineer for over 45 years. Michael was the Technical Director for the Mermaid Theatre in Windsor. Michael was committed to his community through his sound production and spent numerous hours volunteeri­ng for events and shows, such as the Hants County Christmas Angels Society, Windsor United Baptist Church, to name a few. Michael's love for music echoed all throughout the province, he provided equipment, and sound for numerous local bands and charities. Michael was a man of many talents and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Michael was highly committed to his family and friends, and he touched the hearts of many. He will be deeply missed by his family and those who loved him. Cremation has taken place under the care of T. J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialist­s, 71 Mcquade Lake Crescent, Halifax. There will be a visitation held in Windsor United Baptist Church at 219 Payzant Dr., on Sunday, May 29th between the hours of 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebratio­n of Life will be announced at a later date. Donations can be made to the Christmas Angels Society, Mermaid Theater, Windsor Baptist Church or a charity of choice. Michael may you rest in peace and “Keep on Trucking”
