Parks Master Plan
Council discussed the draft city’s parks master plan, which guides capital and operational improvements for the city’s park system including neighborhood, community, waterfront, athletic, linear and natural area parks.
The parks master plan replaces the 2010 parks and recreation master plan and a separate recreation facilities master plan will be considered during 2017 budget deliberations.

Council postponed adoption of the plan to allow more time for discussion about the specific recommendations. The draft plan will be brought to a meeting in October.
