• Colour your stress away when the Westside Creative Colouring Connection meets at 5:30 p.m. at L’Oven Farm Fresh Food at 8-2565 Main St., West Kelowna. Admission is $5. Includes colouring pages and pens.

• Toddler Time from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. at the Westbank Library. Free parent-participation program for children 18 months to three years and their caregivers featuring songs, action rhymes and stories. No registration required.
• Drop-In Family Gym Sport Night from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mar Jok Elementary School at 2101 McDougall Rd. is a chance for families to be active together.

Friday March 3
• Join in Christian fellowship to pray for and learn more about another part of the world at the annual World Day of Prayer at 1 p.m. at our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at 2547 Hebert Rd.The service for this year was written by the women of the Philippines with the theme Am I Being Unfair to You. Representatives from the local churches and their members will participate. Reception to follow.
• Parent Child Mother Goose from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Westbank library at No. 31, 2484 Main St. in Westridge Mall. The Okanagan Regional Library and the Clubhouse Childcare Centre offer a twohour oral literacy program that teaches parents fun ways to interact with their child aged birth to four years. This free, drop-in program is funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Snack time and play time included in each session.
Saturday, March 4
• PLAN Okanagan hosts a fundraising Trivia Night from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Westbank Lions Hall. This year's theme is Wild Wild Westbank, so dress your team up in your best Western themed costume. Prizes awarded to the top three scoring teams, best dressed team, most enthusiastic team and best dressed individual.There will be a cash bar, silent auction, live auction and other exciting games. PLAN Okanagan’s aim is to create safe and secure futures for people with disabilities and their families. Tickets are $25 per person or $160 for a table of eight. This event is 19 and older. • Donna Cole of Orton-Gillingham Academic Math will be giving a free workshop on the Orton-Gillingham approach to teaching mathematics from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Westbank Library at No. 31, 2484 Main St. The workshop will provide a brief overview of the OrtonGillingham approach and learning disabilities that affect math progress. • Biathlon Demo Day and Public Fun Race at Telemark Nordic Club starting at 9 a.m. Try shooting with coaching from one of Telemark’s certified coaches. No biathlon experience needed, just get on your skis and they will teach you the rest. Pick up your trail pass and equipment at the main chalet and then head on over to the biathlon range. • The Arthritis Society presents Understanding Arthritis from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Johnson-Bentley pool. Learn how to become a better self-manager with important information on pain management medications, exercise and complementary therapies. • Family Playtime at the Webber Road Community Centre from 10 a.m. to noon for children newborn to five years with a parent or caregiver. Drop in for social interaction with other parents and playtime for children. Activities may include a craft, gym time and circle time with stories and songs. Free.
