Teen given probation for hot tub sexcapade

- By Daily Courier Staff

The Kelowna teen caught trespassing and having sex with a woman in a stranger’s hot tub last spring was sentenced to one year probation with a conditional discharge.

Noah McDonald, 18, was charged with trespassing at night, theft $5,000 or under and mischief $5,000 or under.

He pleaded guilty to mischief and trespassing in November and was ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge.

On May 25, around 9:30 a.m., the resident of a home in the 1900 block of McDougall Street, near Okanagan Lake, called police to report an incident recorded on a surveillance camera the night before.

The video showed a man and a woman sneaking into the backyard in the dark, peering into the windows of the home, drinking, smoking, climbing into the hot tub and “engaging in physical relations,” said police.

Afterward, the couple attempted to steal some items from the patio, but left mostly empty-handed.

Sarah Clementi, 45, was also charged with trespassing, mischief and theft in relation to the incident.

In December, she pleaded guilty to mischief and trespassing and was sentenced to one year probation and 20 hours of community service. She was ordered to pay a $500 fine.

She also pleaded guilty to two drug possession charges, for which she was sentenced to six days in jail.
