March 15 RCMP file: 2017-12575 A 2015 GMC Acadia parked on the 300 block of Poonian Street was broken into during the early hours of March 15 The thief used a debit card found in the vehicle to tap his way through several local businesses. The suspect is a Caucasian male with balding short blonde hair, wearing a black and white North Face jacket, a grey hoody, dark blue jeans and white skate shoes with black laces. It appears he is wearing a wrist brace on his right wrist and rings on his left hand. Police would like to talk to this person of interest. LIQUOR SHOPLIFTER

March 5 RCMP file: 2017-10832 On March 5, Kelowna RCMP received a complaint of a shoplifter at a liquor store on Roxby Road. Just after 7 p.m. a Caucasian male walked out of the store without paying for two 24-packs of beer and two large bottles of gin. The suspect is approximat­ely 40 years of age with short black hair, a short black beard and was wearing a black sweater and black pants. Police would like to identify this man as the person of interest. ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM COIN MACHINE

March 6 RCMP file: 2017-10888 An employee from a carwash located on Hudson Road in West Kelowna called RCMP at 9:16 a.m. on March 6 to report an attempted theft from the change machine. Two men had just left after attempting to open a change machine located inside the building. The suspects are an Asian man in his early 20s wearing a black hoody and blue jeans and a Caucasian in his mid-30s wearing a black and grey tuque and a black pullover shirt. The men left on foot toward Highway 97 S. THEFT OF COMPRESSOR TRAILER

March 14 RCMP file: 2017-12448 During the early morning hours of March 14, two men cut an entry hole in the rear fence at a compound owned by an equipment rental company on the 1800 block of Byland Road. According to video surveillan­ce, they spent approximat­ely 30 minutes walking through the yard. They eventually cut a portion of the fence at the front of the yard, moved a rock that weighs at least 300 pounds and pushed out a 2012 yellow Atlas compressor trailer worth approximat­ely $10,000. The VIN of the trailer is 4500A1019C­R040837 and it had B.C. licence plate number WBN39E. BREAK AND ENTER TO SHEDS

March 3 RCMP file: 2017-10448 and 2017-10460 Two neighborin­g properties on the 8000 block of Highway 97 N in Lake Country had sheds entered in recent weeks. Some tools were taken from an insecure shed on one of the properties. Tools stolen include an Husqvarna model 385 saw, a Stihl leaf blower (model BG85 / s/n 255993322), a Stihl hedge trimmer (model HS45 / s/n 805416963), and an eight-foot Stihl pole saw. At the other property, the suspects entered a shed and a trailer. The culprit jacked up a vehicle, perhaps in order to steal the wheels, leaving a grinder beside the vehicle. A flat screen TV was stolen from the trailer.
