Trampoline team wins six gold

Brett Judson and Max Vandenberg have qualified to Team B.C. for the upcoming Western Canada Cup.

Both members of the Okanagan Gymnastics Club are ranked in the top three on trampoline out of all the B.C. athletes in Level 3-4 over the course of the season.

The Okanagan Gymnastics trampoline team came home with six gold, four silver and five bronze medals from a recent competitio­n in the Lower Mainland.

Judson was a standout there, finishing with a silver on Level 4 double mini and bronze on Level 4 trampoline, while Vandenberg placed fifth in Level 4 trampoline.

Andrew Oliver won gold in the Level 6 18-and-over category. Jordyn Yendley earned gold on trampoline and silver on double mini trampoline in the Level 6 U17 division.

Taya Lawless placed first in Level 4 U15 double mini trampoline.

Ally Wyllie earned bronze in Level 3 14-and-over double mini trampoline.

Ella Law finished with two medals, one silver and one bronze in the Level 2 14-and-over trampoline and double mini trampoline.

Jacob Kochylema also earned two medals, gold in Level 2 trampoline and bronze in Level 2 U13 double mini trampoline.

Nate Banner claimed two silvers in Level 1 tumbling and Level 2 U13 double mini trampoline, along with a bronze in Level 2 trampoline.

Ethan Scott earned two gold medals in Level 3 trampoline and Level 1 tumbling.
