Clark’s history not pretty

-

Editor: With voting day almost here, Christy Clark is throwing hundreds of millions of dollars around trying to buy an election.

Why is she all of sudden pouring millions into things that should have been dealt with some many years ago?

Maybe people should check into this woman’s history. Her education claims are suspect.

Do you remember when the residents of Vancouver- Point Grey kicked her butt out. They were fed up with her. Then out of the blue she ends up with a seat in West Kelowna and Ben Stewart gets a plum assignment for $150,000 a year as a special representative in Asia based in Beijing.

Or, do you remember when she was the education minister. That blunder over the past 15 years has cost this province untold millions as well as tying up valuable court time. It will now cost this province another half a billion dollars just to bring the education system up to standard.

Or, how about Clark’s time as deputy premier and co-chair of the Liberal party when the promise was made not to sell BC Rail and the resulting scandal that ensued.

Or, how about the Liberal ethnic vote plan in January 2012. They got caught again.

Or, how about the email and document scandal. Anything that would or could be requested through the freedom of information were all destroyed.

What about these secret fundraising dinners, where guests were locked behind closed doors and arrived in cars with tinted windows. The excuse used was security. What a joke.

Then Clark has the audacity to stand up and say she wouldn’t take that $50,000 party stipend anymore. I‘m sure it will show up in some other form.

Of course, we have not even touched on the hundreds of millions spent on this liquefied natural gas blunder. Other countries are so many years ahead of B.C. and have contracts in place for decades to come.

Clark is flogging a dead horse with our money.

Then there is the most recent Liberal Advantage BC, giving untold millions to the rich while we pay for it through higher taxes, fees etc.

The list of blunders is endless and will continue if she is elected again.

I have tried for over two weeks to request information on Clark’s education background and received only their unwillingness to provide me with it. So, the only thing one can assume is she only has a Grade 12 education and no university.

Don’t be fooled by that fake smile. It’s a smirk.

After almost 20 years it is time for a change. Don’t put her back in office.
