• Tracks Walking Club meets at Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park at 9 a.m. Free beginner walking program. Members receive a walking journal, walking tips, seminars and motivation­al tips. Participan­ts at a beginner fitness level are encouraged to take part gradually increasing their health, stamina and walking duration to 60 minutes. Tracks is recognized as a B.C. • Pioneer Photoshoot for all ages from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.at the Westbank Museum. For $8 per person or $30 per family, a profession­al photograph­er will take your photo and send you the images. • Take a two- to three-hour interpreti­ve hike along Trepanier Creek Greenway Regional Park. Hikers will set off at 9 a.m. from the parking area off Trepanier Road and the Highway 97C Okanagan Connector off ramp. Bring your own water and snack. This hike is rated moderate. Free. • The Nature Trust of British Columbia presents the Ninth Annual Earth Wind Fire Event at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort. Sparkling reception at 5:30 p.m. Ballroom doors open at 6:45 p.m. Tickets for Earth Wind Fire cost $175 per person and include fine dining, live and silent auctions, wine, beer, cider and live entertainm­ent led by Anna Jacyszyn. The Nature Trust of B.C. conserves habitat for wildlife, fish, plants and people and has secured over 10,000 acres of ecological­ly important land in the Okanagan. Proceeds from Earth Wind Fire 2017 will help acquire an 86-acre parcel near Skaha Lake that will provide critical habitat for Bighorn sheep. • Walk, hike or run your way to the top of Boucherie Mountain as West Kelowna Fire Rescue paid on-call fire fighters and community volunteers host the second annual Boucherie Grind to raise money for CRIS Adaptive Adventures. Event village is at Darroch Park at 2781 East Boundary Rd. at the base of Mount Boucherie. Choose from the 3.5 kilometre Boucherie Grind for $10, the 6.5-km Boucherie Grind Loop for $20 or the 9.2-km Boucherie Grind Extreme for $30. All races will have chip timed results.
