Canada Day All Okanagan communitie­s are hosting a day full of events. Highlights include Folkfest at Prospera Place — the Kelowna City Concert Band caps off the day with a 7:30 p.m. concert. Waterfront Park will host live bands and activities all day long. Westside Daze takes place in Memorial Park, beside the Johnson-Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre, after the parade downtown, which starts at 10:30 a.m. Peachland’s day of activities includes the annual parade at 4:30 p.m. Lake Country’s festivitie­s will be in Swalwell Park. Pickleball Paddles provided. Location: Parkinson Recreation Centre outdoor courts. Time: 1-3 p.m. Bingo Kelowna Senior Citizens Society bingo at the Richter seniors’ centre.
