Simpson heads college foundation

Sharron Simpson, a former City of Kelowna councillor, is the new president and board chair of the Okanagan College Foundation.

Simpson will oversee fundraising efforts to support four new projects on three of the college’s campuses.

Simpson, who was employed as a social worker, stockbroker and financial adviser, has been on the foundation’s board of directors since 2013.
