• The GS Garcia Band and Black Cat Soul will perform at the free weekly Music in the Park concert from 6:40 to 9 p.m. at the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre in Memorial Park by the Johnson-Bentley pool. Bring your own lawn chair. Food and beverage vendors on site.

• Family Playtime at the Webber Road Community Centre at 2829 Inverness Rd. from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for children newborn to five years with a parent or caregiver. Drop in for social interaction with other parents, playtime for children and enjoy lunch together. Activities may include a craft, gym time and circle time with stories and songs. Free. • Everyone is invited to the Westbank Lions Community Centre at 2466 Main St. for the Westbank Lions Hall Key Turnover Ceremony at 11 a.m., officially transferring the Westbank Lions Community Centre from the Westbank Lions Club to the City of West Kelowna at 11 a.m. Refreshments will be served.

• The Westbank Farmers Market runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Westridge Shopping Centre on the corner of Main Street and Elliott Road. Entertainment is provided each week. New vendors welcome. For more information go online to westbankfarmersmarket. com.

• After the Flood Celebration, Barbecue and Movie Night at Cousins Park in Peachland. Free barbecue and refreshments, kids’ water slide, games and face painting and Mayor’s dunk tank from 4 to 7 p.m. Music in the Park from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with country band Dion Weisbrod and the Unbranded Band. Sign the large thank you banner for those who helped protect the community. The movie, A Dog’s Purpose, starts at 8:45 p.m.The movie is free, but donations to the Peachland Boys and Girls Club are welcome.

• Peachland Farmers and Crafters Market is open in Heritage Park on Beach Avenue in Peachland from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• West Kelowna Blood Donor Clinic at Lakeview Heights Baptist Church at 2630 Alhambra Dr. from noon to 7 p.m. Book now at blood. ca or the GiveBlood app. Many eligibility requirements have been updated including removing the upper age limit. Donors must be 17 or older. Before you donate, take the eligibility quiz online at blood.ca. The Kelowna Blood Donor Clinic at 1865 Dilworth Dr. is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and every second Saturday from 9 am. • Power Skating Camp with instructor Dave Cunning, daily until Aug. 3 at the Jim Lind Arena and Mount Boucherie fields. Camps for seven to eight year olds or nine to 10 year olds run from 8:30 to noon. Camps for 11 to 12 year olds or 13 to 15 year olds run from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

• Camps will cover the basics including forward and backward skating, balance, agility, edge control, forward-backward transition and acceleration. Participants will also work on conditioning, movement and coordination through dryland training. Four sessions cost $100. • Self-Management And Recovery Training Recovery meeting 7 p.m. at the Westbank Lions Community Hall. SMART Recovery's four-point program helps people recover from all types of addictive behaviours, including alcoholism, drug abuse, substance abuse, drug addiction, alcohol abuse, gambling addiction, cocaine addiction and addiction to other substances and activities. Meetings are free, confidential and last for about an hour.
