• The GS Garcia Band and Black Cat Soul will perform at the free weekly Music in the Park concert from 6:40 to 9 p.m. at the Annette Beaudreau Amphitheat­re in Memorial Park by the Johnson-Bentley pool. Bring your own lawn chair. Food and beverage vendors on site.

• Everyone is invited to the Westbank Lions Community Centre at 2466 Main St. for the Westbank Lions Hall Key Turnover Ceremony at 11 a.m., officially transferri­ng the Westbank Lions Community Centre from the Westbank Lions Club to the City of West Kelowna at 11 a.m. Refreshmen­ts will be served.

• After the Flood Celebratio­n, Barbecue and Movie Night at Cousins Park in Peachland. Sign the large thank you banner for those who helped protect the community. • Power Skating Camp with instructor Dave Cunning, daily until Aug. 3 at the Jim Lind Arena and Mount Boucherie fields. Camps for seven to eight year olds or nine to 10 year olds run from 8:30 to noon. Camps for 11 to 12 year olds or 13 to 15 year olds run from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

• Camps will cover the basics including forward and backward skating, balance, agility, edge control, forward-backward transition and accelerati­on. Participan­ts will also work on conditioni­ng, movement and coordinati­on through dryland training. Four sessions cost $100. • Self-Management And Recovery Training Recovery meeting 7 p.m. at the Westbank Lions Community Hall. SMART Recovery's four-point program helps people recover from all types of addictive behaviours, including alcoholism, drug abuse, substance abuse, drug addiction, alcohol abuse, gambling addiction, cocaine addiction and addiction to other substances and activities. Meetings are free, confidenti­al and last for about an hour.
