The Keremeos Grist Mill and Gardens are hosts of the 10th annual five -day theatre camp for kids 7 to 12 years old, Aug. 21-25.

The camp is a program of Lower Similkameen Community Services Society funded with B.C. Gaming Proceeds.

The camp runs Monday through to Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and is a free program.

In past years, children have developed plays based upon traditional folktales or their own made-up stories in which they improvise scenes with costumes and properties from bins supplied by the local Cawston Players amateur theatre club.

Coaches at this year’s camp will be Su Wolfe and Bob MacAtamney with Dave Cursons in a support role. As in past years, teens are welcome to join in with the theatre camp as volunteers where they will participate and support the younger folks.

Story Theatre registration forms are available at and received by The Keremeos Branch of Okanagan Regional Library. For inquiries , call 250-499-2352, local 107.
