- By KEVIN BAIN

The Kelowna Rockets continued their main camp on Wednesday with a session for goalies at 9:45 a.m., followed by a players practice.

For players like Jack Cowell, excitement has made it so that the preseason can’t come quick enough.

“I’m excited just to get stuff going. I’m excited to see what the new guys have to bring, excited to see how the older guys have developed, and to see what kind of team we’ve got to work with this season,” Cowell said.

“I did a lot of work over the summer, I did a lot of heavy lifting and changed up my diet. I feel bigger and it’s made me a lot more confident on the ice so I’m excited to see what happens.”

With the first preseason game in just a couple of days the main camp rosters were trimmed down once again. The Rockets reassigned James Bohn, Cole Brooks, Jared Bucci, Caden Creasy, Cole De Koninck, Dylan Esau, Jordan Frey, Brett Fudger, Brandon MacKenzieKochen, Carter Massier, Reid Robertson, and Grady Thomas to their respective clubs.
