Get in the Christmas spirit this week

The Cove Lakeside Resort at 4205 Gellatly Rd. is holding its Annual Selfies with Santa fundraiser for the Westside Community Food Bank Dec. 16 from 2 to 6 p.m.

People can bring their cameras and take family photos with Santa in the Cove’s festive lobby.

Cash donations will be accepted for a visit with Santa.

There will also be baked Christmas goodies and raffle tickets available for prize packages and baskets.

Money raised from the event will help the Cove sponsor families through the Westside Community Food bank during the holiday season.

*** Galleria Fashions at 107-3480 Carrington Rd. is one of two drop-off locations for a toy drive on behalf of the West Kelowna Boys and Girls Club.

People can drop new unwrapped toys at Galleria Fashions from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until Friday.

First Class Auto Glass at 2710 Kyle Rd. is also accepting toys from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tickets cost $60 a person and include art supplies, two glasses of wine and sweet and savory goodies.
