BREAK AND ENTER Nov. 9 RCMP file: 2017-67718

While a family was at work and school on Nov. 9, someone kicked in the back door of their home on the 400 block of Farris Road. Items taken included credit cards, an Apple MacBook, several high-end watches (Tag Heuer, Rolex, Bulova and a Hamilton pocket watch), a wedding band, princess cut diamond engagement ring and various other jewellry pieces. The laptop was later retrieved from a garbage can on Burne Avenue. Police would like to identify this male person of interest wearing a camo hoodie and light coloured sweat pants.

SHOPLIFTIN­G Feb. 9 RCMP file: 2018-7190

A clerk at a liquor store located on the 1900 block of Kane Road in Kelowna contacted Kelowna RCMP to report a theft from the store. On Feb. 9, at approximat­ely 12:20 p.m., a woman entered the store and selected a bottle of vodka. The employee noticed that as she was walking away she no longer carried it. When questioned, the suspect ran out to a waiting grey Pontiac Sunfire sedan. Video surveillan­ce verified the theft and police would like to identify this female person of interest.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE Feb. 12 RCMP file: 2018-7726

An out-of-town businessma­n’s rental car was broken into while visiting a winery on Boucherie Road on the evening of Feb. 12. The thief stole a black and red carry-on size Briggs & Riley suitcase full of clothes, a gray Tumi briefcase, a MacBook laptop, an American passport and some U.S. cash. The next day, a postal worker found the suitcase abandoned nearby on Angus Road and the man was able to recover his passport and some of his other belongings.

THEFT FROM BOAT DEALERSHIP Feb. 6 RCMP file: 2018-6794

Sometime on Feb. 4-5, a thief entered the locked yard of a marine dealership located on Petrie Road in Lake Country. Staff discovered two boats had been entered and stereo and amp equipment were missing. Footprints in the snow led to a hole in the fence. On Feb. 7, staff found the thieves had returned to finish the job of taking the remaining Wetsounds SYN DX-6 DSP amp from the Tige RZX3 boat. Video shows a Caucasian male, wearing all black clothing hop the locked gate at 7:02 p.m. on Feb. 6 and head directly to the corner where the boat was stored. The culprit cut the wiring harness to remove the amp and attempted to steal the touch screen monitor. A neighborin­g business’s security camera caught a light brown four-door car picking up the suspect at the main gate about 30 minutes after dropping him off.
