Voyager RV in Winfield has been named an Elite Blue Ribbon Top 5 RV Dealership in North America by RV Business magazine.

The local dealership picked up the award at the recent RV Dealers Association International Convention in Las Vegas.

Voyager RV was the only Canadian dealership in the top 5.

The others in the top 5 are: Colerain Family RV in Ohio, Hartville RV, also in Ohio, Veurinks’ RV in Grand Rapids, Mich., and Walnut Ridge Family RV in New Castle, Ind.

For the last two years, Voyager has been in the Top 50, but managed to crack the top five this time around.

“It’s really an award given to RV dealers who look at the overall picture of what a totally customer-focused RV dealership should look like in this day and age,” said Voyager vice-president Jason Friesen.

“We try to do things the right way, empowering our staff to make decisions based on what is best for the customer, not what is best for bottom-line profit. The Voyager RV brand has always been strong, and the fact we’ve stayed committed to being an RV dealer with one location, has allowed us to make sure our culture and customer-first environment always stays intact.”

Besides customer service and satisfaction, dealers were also ranked on employee training, financial planning, marketing, community involvement, best practices and overall excellence.
