Teenage voters welcome concept

Dear editor: Re: “14-year-old pushes to lower voting age,” (Courier, June 12).

Bravo to Simon Minkow for pushing the government to lower the voting age to 16. Also, credit to the Green Party, which recognizes that 16-year-olds “are fully capable of making informed voting choices.”

I hope that Premier John Horgan will move on this — our democracy will be enhanced by increased youth input. Eric Jones
