Detour route takes a detour
With construction progressing on the Boucherie Road wine trail, changes to the project detour route will take effect beginning Monday.
The change will be in place for approximately one month to allow for roundabout construction at the Boucherie and Hudson Road intersection and for watermain installation.
The modiÀed detour will direct northbound trafÀc along Hayman Road while southbound trafÀc will continue to use Boucherie Road to access the detour route.
Grizzli Winery will be accessible from Hudson Road only and all other businesses, wineries and amenities may be accessed using the detour route.
Digital signage will be in place to notify motorists of the trafÀc pattern changes.
Motorists are encouraged to use the delineated detour route and avoid travel through adjacent neighbourhoods.
Construction on the $8.75 million upgrade to this portion of Boucherie Road is expected to be complete in November 2018.
