The Spectrum Singers have been invited to perform back up for the Tenors at their Home for the Holidays, Christmas Classics and the Hits concert Nov. 29 at Prospera Place in Kelowna.

The Spectrum Singers, a West Kelownabased adult mixed choir under the direction of Kim Kleineberg, will perform four songs with the Canadian vocal super group.

The Tenors blend classical music and contemporary pop and have performed over 1,000 live shows and hundreds of television appearances.

Tickets for the Tenors are available through Select Your Tickets.

Earlier in the fall, the Spectrum Singers performed backup for David Foster at his concert at the Mission Hill winery.

Last year, the Spectrum Singers were invited to participate in a mass choir of 270 voices with a full orchestra at the New York premiere of Mark Hayes’ Carol Suites at Carnegie Hall.

The Spectrum Singers are gearing up for their Christmas concert, the Gift, with 7:30 p.m. performances Dec. 7 and 8 at St. Michael’s Cathedral at 308 Sutherland Ave. in Kelowna.

Their repertoire will include three of the Mark Hayes International Carol Suites from their performance at Carnegie Hall in New York. Local soloists Alexa Hildebrandt, Mark Wells and professional instrumentalists will be featured.

Tickets for the Gift cost $20 each or $10 for students and are available at the Westbank Centre Blenz, West Kelowna UPS Store, Mosaic Books in Kelowna or any choir member.
