Okanagan Seasons Resort on the 1500 block of Highway 33 West called police after a male entered the lobby, carrying a knife and demanding money from the till.
The clerk handed over the money and the male fled northbound through the parking lot.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately five feet 11 inches tall and wearing black motorcycle boots, blue jeans, a dark hoodie and a baseball cap with a black brim. The suspect apparently had very bad body odour. Crime: Arson

4:20 a.m.
Ten vehicles under a carport were fully engulfed in flames, gutting an exterior parkade and causing significant damage to the exterior of a six-storey apartment building. More than 100 people were displaced from their homes.
Video surveillance has been released that shows an individual on a bicycle who seems to light a vehicle with an accelerant. The jacket of the suspect appears to have a lighter-coloured panel across the back.
Police have canvassed for video surveillance in the area and ask that if you have surveillance footage from that time to review it and notify police if you see anything suspicious.

Crime: Theft from trailer Date: Dec. 12, 2018 RCMP file: 2018-76013
A utility trailer parked at a construction site on the 3000 block of Louie Drive (Hawks Landing) in West Kelowna was broken into either on the night of Dec. 11 or early hours of Dec. 12.
The trailer, a white 2018 Cargo Mate with Alberta licence plates, had many tools taken, some of which may have had “MAP” etched into them.
Tools taken include a Honda 3500 generator, a Makita electric compressor, Paslode nail gun, Dewalt 60-volt saw and Sawzall, Ramset impact driver, Stihl TDI driver, Hitachi coil driver nailer, and a Paslode trim gun. Crime: Theft of Ford Expedition Date: Dec. 10, 2018 RCMP file: 018-75652
A vehicle left at a Stevens Road collision shop in West Kelowna disappeared between Dec. 7 and Dec. 10 after being repaired from a recent mischief.
The stolen vehicle is a green 2000 Ford Expedition with VIN 1FMNU41S9YEC69514 and B.C. licence plate FJ847P.
Crime: Siphoning gas Date: Dec. 10, 2018 RCMP file: 2018-75634 An employee of a landscaping company interrupted two unknown males siphoning gas from the company’s work truck at approximately 10 a.m. on Dec. 10 from a location on the 4300 block of Shanks Road in Lake Country.
The employee had arrived to find a suspicious white regular cab GMC Sierra truck on the property.
The two took off quickly after being spotted.
