We need to make Canada great again

Dear Editor: Re: Justin Trudeau’s politics of fear. Yes, I also fear for our country. I fear for the direction our prime minister is taking our country. Through taxation, he is attempting to redistribute our wealth to make everyone equal and dependent on the government.

The U.S. and U.K. don’t allow terrorists to return. We repatriate them and give them millions of dollars.

He is giving away our tax dollars to foreign countries with no accountability.

He has the government taking over industries such as pipelines and self-driving cars, yet he can’t get approved projects built.

With his foreign policy, he is alienating Canada from other countries.

He cannot balance the budget till 2040 and will accumulate debt until that time — a recipe for financial ruin.

He believes in open borders and spends millions on illegal migrants, but has only a dollar and change for seniors, old age security and fewer benefits for disabled veterans. In his tenure as prime minister, he is an established globetrotter taking selfies, all on our taxpayers’ dollar.

It my be hard to visualize, but this is a sinister attempt at changing out country into a socialist country. History has proven that socialism is the ruination of countries. The most recent is Venezuela.

We need someone to make Canada great again. This insanity has to stop — vote Trudeau out! Rudie Harder Kelowna
