Help hospice society create lasting legacy for the future

-

The Central Okanagan Hospice Association (COHA) has been supporting the Central Okanagan, from Peachland to Lake Country, for over 38 years. COHA is committed to helping people with a life-limiting illness live to the fullest until they die, and to help their loved one be supported in their grief.

Professional staff and trained volunteers support individuals and families in the Central Okanagan, in private homes, in Hospice House, long-term care facilities, and in the hospital.

Our support complements the medical care received, to create as much normalcy as possible.

COHA is proud to provide necessary resources to the Central Okanagan community at no cost.

This includes bereavement and grief counseling, grief groups, volunteer support programs, caregiver support, and wellness programs.

COHA relies upon donations from our community to continue to provide these vital programs.

Many individuals choose to support charities throughout their lives, so they can help their community and those around them.

In this way, they can see the difference that they make; however, donors also want to ensure the continuity of charities, programs and services, after they are gone.

Legacy giving provides an opportunity for donors to leave a substantial gift to a charity. By leaving a gift in your will, you can create a lasting legacy for the future.

At COHA, legacy gifts ensure that a community is created in which no one has to die or grieve alone.
