Scavenger hunt also a boost to businesses

A scavenger hunt next month will reward successful sleuths with gift cards to local businesses impacted by COVID-19.

Participants in the Aug. 22 event will receive email clues throughout the day as to the location of prizes hidden around downtown.

Teams of six can join for a registration fee of $40, while individuals can participate for a minimum donation of $20.

Along with giving a boost to local businesses, the event is a fundraiser for Elevation Oudoors, a non-profit that helps kids enjoy new activities, and the Rotary Club of Kelowna Morningside. Register at trellis.org/thegreatkelownascavengerhunt.
