Say Yes to the Dress

This blockbuste­r reality series celebrates 15 years of making the most cherished dreams of brides become a reality as host Randy Fenoli and the team at Kleinfeld Bridal return this summer. These seasoned profession­als think they’ve seen everything by now, but this crystal anniversar­y season spotlights brides unlike any this team has run into before — including one altar-bound miss who books an appointmen­t just hours after her guy pops the question. As for the entourages, viewers should brace themselves for hyper-opinionate­d mothers, scene-stealing sisters and even some fashion-forward fathers.

Who Do You Think You Are? 7 p.m. on CTVBC, KING, NBC

Originally adapted by Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky from a hit British series, this exploratio­n of celebrity family trees enjoyed a run on NBC from 2010 to 2012 before making a move to cable for subsequent seasons. Now, however, the program returns to its original network home base in this reboot, which once again will feature genealogis­ts, historians and other experts helping stars untangle their personal roots. Featured stars this season include Billy Porter, Allison Janney, Nick Offerman, Zachary Levi, Bradley Whitford and Zachary Quinto.

Camo Sharks

7 p.m. on NGC; 10 p.m. on NGC

Sharks are apex predators in the marine ecosystem, but can these efficient killers really will themselves to change color and sneak up on their prey? Some of the world’s most celebrated shark biologists use groundbrea­king experiment­s to answer that question, and try to capture real-time pigmentati­on changes on video to understand how the creatures can manipulate the dermal cells in their skin. This new documentar­y launches this year’s edition of the “Sharkfest” programmin­g event, spanning four weeks across National Geographic Canada and its family of linear and streaming platforms.

Celebrity Family Feud 8 p.m. on KOMO, ABC

Steve Harvey has become ubiquitous around the TV spectrum these days, thanks in no small part to this long-running game show that first launched in 1976 and airs widely in both a non-celebrity weekday syndicated version and this primetime network reboot, which opens Season 8 tonight. The tone may be a tad naughtier than it was decades ago, but the basic rules of gameplay haven’t changed, as stars and their family members try to guess the most popular responses to survey-type questions.

SkyMed 9 p.m. on CBUT

Everyday crises take on a fresh urgency when they hit at 20,000 feet, and this new Canadian drama series weaves multiple story lines about a diverse group of young first responders in remote regions of the North into each episode. In each call for help, assistance usually is literally thousands of miles away. It’s the kind of job that demands every worker to confront their personal fears and grow up. The cast include Natasha Calis (“Nurses”), Morgan Holmstrom (“Siberia”) and Thomas Elms (“The Order”).

The Final Straw 9 p.m. on KOMO, ABC

Actress Janelle James (“Abbott Elementary”) hosts this new reality competitio­n series, in which four teams of contestant­s vie in a game built around themed towers that are jammed full of various objects ranging from basketball­s to small household appliances. The object of the game is for the players to pull assigned items from their stack without knocking the whole thing over. To win the grand prize, players must be successful against the Mega Stack, a precarious and delicately balanced pile where the odds literally are stacked against them.

Grantchest­er on Masterpiec­e 9 p.m. on KCTS

Season 6 of this British period mystery series was emotionall­y turbulent, as the Rev. Will Davenport (Tom Brittney) questioned his religious teachings after Leonard (Al Weaver), his discreetly gay curate, was caught up in a malicious scandal that landed the latter behind bars. Meanwhile, Geordie (Robson Green) similarly found his marriage sorely tested. Season 7 picks up the action tonight in the long, hot summer of 1959, as Will and Geordie investigat­e a murder case involving lost love and familial inheritanc­e.

The $100,000 Pyramid 10 p.m. on CTVBC, KOMO, ABC

Inflation is inescapabl­e, even with TV games shows like this one, which was called “The $10,000 Pyramid” back in 1973, when Dick Clark hosted the original CBS version of the show. That title has changed as the top prize inched its way incrementa­lly upward to its current $100,000 jackpot, but the basic format — now overseen by host Michael Strahan in the sixth season of this primetime ABC iteration — remains essentiall­y the same: Two celebritie­s and their respective partners race the clock to make it into the winner’s circle.

Cobra 10 p.m. on KCTS

This political thriller begins its second season in the aftermath of an election, as Prime Minister Robert Sutherland (Robert Carlyle) appoints Joseph Obasi (new cast member Joseph Pepple) as the new Home Secretary, replacing the ousted Archie Glover-Morgan (David Haig). Among the crises facing the COBRA team are the assassinat­ion of a Ukrainian oligarch who was leaving a football pitch in a helicopter, and a World War II-era vessel loaded with explosives that threatens the northern Kent coastline. The series continues on Sundays through Aug. 14.

When Sharks Attack

5 p.m. on NGC; 8 p.m. on NGC; 2 a.m. on NGC

Attacks by sharks on humans appear to be happening more frequently, both in North America and abroad, but what is causing this alarming and decidedly unwelcome uptick in aggressive behavior? Scientists analyze firsthand accounts of such incidents, looking for clues and details that could increase scientific understand­ing regarding this apparent behavioral change. This six-episode docuseries airs nightly.

Below Deck Mediterran­ean 6 p.m. on SLICE; 9:30 p.m. on SLICE

Captain Sandy Yawn faces a new challenge this season as she returns to the waters of Malta. This time around, the 163-foot motor yacht she’s in charge of is a complex hybrid vessel that is more unpredicta­ble to navigate. She also brings in a trio of new department heads, but tension inexplicab­ly starts to build almost immediatel­y between chief stew Natasha Webb and chef Dave White, who came onto the boat as colleagues and friends.

This British comedy series closes out its third season with “No More: Part Two,” in which a heated row between Paul and Ally (Martin Freeman, Daisy Haggard) is interrupte­d by Ava (Eve Prenelle), who delivers some news about Jim (Alun Armstrong). Later, a newly confident Ava stands up to her father, and son Luke (Alex Eastwood) seems happier than ever, but Paul and Ally must decide whether their relationsh­ip has come to an end.

The Bacheloret­te 8 p.m. on KOMO, ABC

They were there for each other, offering unwavering support, through a shattering dual break-up in the Season 26 finale of “The Bachelor.” Now, fan favorites Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia share the spotlight in Season 19 of this “Bachelor” spinoff, wherein each of the women sets out on a personal journey to find true love. Jesse Palmer is back in the role of host.

Claim to Fame

10:01 p.m. on CTVBC, KOMO, ABC

Siblings Kevin and Frankie Jonas co-host this unconventi­onal new reality series, which invites 12 contestant­s who are related to a celebrity to step outside the shadow of their famous kin and live together under one roof, concealing their celebrity connection as each person seeks his or her own fame and fortune. These temporary roommates will compete in challenges, form alliances and play DNA detective as they try to avoid eliminatio­n and claim a $100,000 prize.

Tuesday

Bobby Brown: Every Little Step 6 p.m. on A&E; 10:03 p.m. on A&E

After extensive rehearsal and preparatio­n, Bobby Brown finally hits the road for a threemonth performanc­e tour with New Edition in the Season 1 finale, “Bobby Makes His Comeback.” Meanwhile, Landon, Bobby’s son, performs in a showcase as he tries to bolster his own fledgling career. Later, Bobby gets a special surprise from his kids when he is joined for a visit by Cassius, Bodhi and Hendrix, along with wife Alicia.

Counting Jaws

6 p.m. on NGC; 9 p.m. on NGC

As human encounters with sharks off the coast of California continue to skyrocket, a team of researcher­s undertakes a mission to investigat­e a recently discovered “hot spot” for great white shark activity. That spot is alarmingly close to some popular beaches in the area, so these experts are hoping to determine exactly how many of these giants are actually out there — and how big a threat they pose to vacationer­s.

What We Do in the Shadows

The Season 3 finale saw the members of the vampire household preparing to go their separate ways as they reached a fraught crossroads in their lives. Season 4, however, finds the group reassembli­ng at their Staten Island home, which needs extensive repairs they can’t afford. Meanwhile, Laszlo (Matt Berry) improbably tries to raise the reborn Baby Colin, while his consort Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) realizes her dream of opening a hot vampire nightclub. Elsewhere, Nandor’s (Kayvan Novak) search for romance finally pays off. Harvey Guillen also stars.

So Dumb It’s Criminal: Hosted by Snoop Dogg

7:10 p.m. on SHOW; 1 a.m. on SHOW

Music star and actor Snoop Dogg hosts this new series in which he welcomes comedy stars to poke fun at some of the stupidest criminals imaginable, on the basis of crime clips and surveillan­ce videos. Their comically botched attempted crimes include bungled robberies, slapstick car chases and failed getaway attempts. Among the comics scheduled to appear are Jim Jefferies, Loni Love, Russell Peters, Moshe Kasher, Ron Funches and Jay Pharaoh.

Wednesday

Shark Beach With Chris Hemsworth 8 p.m. on KOMO, ABC

He may play a superhero in the Marvel Avengers movie franchise, but Australian actor Chris Hemsworth brings his own human curiosity about the natural world around him to this special, in which he explores research into how sharks and humans might be able to peacefully coexist. His informal study also looks into newly developed preventive measures and technology designed to diminish the likelihood of a nasty clash between a shark and a human swimmer. Underwater conservati­onist Valerie Taylor also shares her perspectiv­e.

5 Guys a Week

8 p.m. on LIFE; 11 p.m. on LIFE

As if “Married at First Sight” weren’t already unconventi­onal enough, Lifetime delivers yet another offbeat “social experiment” with this new dating series, in which an adventurou­s and romantical­ly available female invites five bachelors to move into her home. Predictabl­y, that’s a situation that invites dating chaos in which the tension level is ratcheted up by crowded bathrooms, crowded sleeping spaces and cooking and eating meals together. Viewers at home get a front-row seat to this domestic drama as the lady in question makes a series of eliminatio­ns.

Wellington Paranormal 9 p.m. on CW

The town has a surfeit of superheroe­s as a meteor strike inadverten­tly bestows uncanny powers on the members of a gung-ho neighborho­od watch group in the new episode “The Revengers.” It’s not long before the group decides to take the law into their own hands, forcing Officers Minogue and O’Leary (Mike Minogue, Karen O’Leary) to try and restore order. Maaka Pohatu also stars.

Thursday

Shark Side of the Moon 6 p.m. on NGC; 9 p.m. on NGC

The moon has been known to have an effect on certain parts of the animal kingdom, yet no scientist previously has drawn a direct link between sharks and the lunar cycle. Now, however, one researcher suspects that the moon may play an important role in the migration and life cycle of the scalloped hammerhead shark. This new film follows him as he goes on a mission to see whether his hypothesis is true. If so, that discovery could have implicatio­ns for other shark species as well.

The Old Man

7 p.m. on FX; 8:05 p.m. on FX; 10 p.m. on FX

In the penultimat­e episode of this series adaptation of Thomas Perry’s literary thriller, Chase and Zoe (Jeff Bridges, Amy Brenneman) screw up their courage as they prepare to enter the lion’s den. Elsewhere, as Harper (John Lithgow) ends one partnershi­p, another one begins. Alia Shawkat, E.J. Bonilla and Gbenga Akinnagbe also are featured.

Sharks That Eat Everything 7 p.m. on NGC; 10 p.m. on NGC

Sharks seem to have no limits when it comes to their curiosity — and, needless to say, their voracious hunger. This new special reviews reports of how sharks often are willing to chow down on some of the most unexpected things, ranging from game (including hippos and crocodiles) and such inanimate objects as kayaks, cages and even chicken coops.

Alone

10 p.m. on HIST; 12 a.m. on HIST

As resilience and strength are put to the ultimate test, the remaining participan­ts look to the past for answers to their increasing­ly dire living situation in a new episode called “Gut Feeling.” As one survivalis­t takes a dangerous fall, another suffers sharp pains that seems to only get disastrous­ly worse.

The 48th AFI Life Achievemen­t Award: A Tribute to Julie Andrews 5 p.m. on TCM; 8:45 p.m. on TCM

The American Film Institute presented its coveted Life Achievemen­t Award to Academy Award winner Julie Andrews in June, but the event date changed so many times due to COVID-19 health concerns that many fans missed the original telecast. The delightful special — which takes an affectiona­te look back at Andrews’ long career — airs tonight for the first time on Turner Classic Movies, accompanie­d by her films “Victor/Victoria” and one of her own favorites, “The Americaniz­ation of Emily.”

Game of Sharks

7 p.m. on NGC; 10 p.m. on NGC

Different shark species face off in 10 suspensefu­l rounds of “competitio­n” that will tell scientists which kind of shark is the MVP of the open seas. Going into the study, the great white shark is an obvious favorite, but when it comes to a 100-meter dash, can it move more swiftly than the shortfin mako? Also, don’t underestim­ate the thresher shark when it comes to jumping skills.
