Autocrats are at war with hypocrites

-

DEAR EDITOR:

China denies any role in election interference and says Pierre Elliot Trudeau was a good friend to China.

But news has become a scandal that imperils national security. Friend shoring and decoupling require us to thicken our borders, with an extra layer of vetting by U.S. officials to help secure Fortress North America – a new consequence of Joe Biden politics.

The sabotage of the Nordstream pipeline has locked Europe to North American energy – only at four times the price.

As America’s attention turns to China and EU/NATO leadership shifts to a war-time economy, anti-war protest grows throughout Europe and America that crack the coalition.

Brazenly, Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act seeks to attract green investment away from Europe to North America with our cheaper energy prices, to keep Russia out, and Europe dependent – another consequence of Biden politics.

China thinks Canada is on the wrong side of history and parrots the avaricious command of our American puppet masters, China believes Canada has been economically colonized by the U.S.

This strong anti–colonialist sentiment is why the Global south does not support the Ukraine war. Many G20 countries see American led NATO expansion as a form of neo–colonialism,

Only one third of the world’s population lives in countries that condemn Russia and imposed sanctions. Two thirds of the world see the war as a contest between autocrats and hypocrites.

China accuses America of building a Pacific version of NATO to provoke it in Asia. While being vocal on the sovereignty of Ukraine, America has sought to undermine China on Taiwan – a clear double standard.

China describes their relationship with Russia as one of the most important in the world and has warned, if America continues its aggressive provocation in Taiwan and Ukraine the world is headed to global conflict.

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley warns, “China is the strongest and most disciplined enemy America has ever faced.” Every previous conflict involving America since 1945 has been against a technologically inferior and economically poorer country. China is a peer-competitor. Critics claim containment and suppression will not make America great – but cooperation will.
