JOSEPH TISIGA (June 2, 8 p.m., Zoom via the Audain Museum) Oversized cigarettes carved from ash logs and massive collages with images culled from anthropology texts and encyclopedias: those are just some of the works that have brought this Kaska Dene, Whitehorse-based artist huge attention—including a coveted 2020 Sobey Art Award. He’ll give insight into his work as part of the Whistler museum’s compelling Tuesday Night Talks series.

LUCKY GRANDMA (Now streaming, viff.org/) Rave reviews for this black comedy about a chain-smoking grandma (an outstanding Tsai Chin) who goes all-in at the casino, only to find herself taking on the Chinese mob.
