The P.E.I. Home Economics Association is meeting Wednesday, Oct. 29, third floor dining room, Health Science Building, UPEI, for a pot luck dinner to begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by speaker Denise Lockhart, executive director of Family Service P.E.I., and then the semi-annual meeting. Lockhart will be speaking on Family Service P.E.I.’s new toolkit, It’s Your Right - Protecting Yourself Financially as you Age. Everyone is welcome to attend. FUNDRAISER
A used clothing sale will be held at Zion Presbyterian Church, 135 Prince St., Charlottetown on Thursday, Oct. 30, Friday, Oct. 31, and Saturday, Nov. 1. Sale hours will be from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Quality men’s, ladies, and children’s clothes will be available at very low prices.
