Summerside man sentenced for threats

SUMMERSIDE - A 36-year-old man from Summerside has been sentenced to 45 days in jail after pleading guilty to uttering threats and breaching his probation. Wayne Maurice Butler, was charged on June 24, 2015 in Summerside. In addition to serving his jail time, which he will do on weekends, Butler was also ordered to pay a $200 victim surcharge and must serve an additional 18 months of probation.
