An­nual Kelly’s Cross tea party set for Satur­day

Another spe­cial event in the history of Kelly’s Cross is set for Satur­day, July 11.

The an­nual tea party be­gins at 2:30 p.m.

The en­ter­tain­ment lineup, taken from the Kelly’s Cross ceilidhs, in­cludes the Cen­tre House band.

As well, a va­ri­ety of oth­ers will be pro­vid­ing en­ter­tain­ment at this free out­door con­cert.

There will be games for young and old in­clud­ing a bingo tent, crown and an­chor and dunk­ing pool.

Other ac­tiv­i­ties in­clude a craft and home bak­ing ta­ble, kids games and face paint­ing.

Tick­ets for the ma­jor lottery will be on sale with prizes of $500, $200 and $100.

Meals will be served in the Kelly’s Cross Com­mu­nity Cen­tre start­ing at 3:30 p.m. and take outs will be avail­able.

The cen­tre is wheel­chair ac­ces­si­ble.

An old fash­ioned cake auc­tion will be held at 6 p.m.

The day wraps up with a dance in the com­mu­nity cen­tre be­gin­ning at 9 p.m.

Mu­sic will be by Kendall Docherty and Band.

Tick­ets are $5 in ad­vance and $6 at the door.
