HAR­RING­TON, J. Dar­lyene

The fu­neral for J. Dar­lyene Har­ring­ton of Char­lot­te­town and for­merly of Spring Val­ley, was held Tues­day, June 23, 2015 in the Dav­i­son Fu­neral Home Chapel, Kens­ing­ton where the ser­vice was con­ducted at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Margie Fa­gan. The Gospel was read by Pas­tor Matt McGon­nell. The eu­logy was given by Ch­eryl Stead. The poem You Meant So Much to Me was read by Christina MacLeod and the poem She is Gone was read by Bon­nie Dover. Dur­ing the ser­vice, the se­lec­tions In The Arms of an An­gel, I Hope You Dance, God Will Take Care of You, and When I Get Where I Am Go­ing were played. The pre­lude and postlude se­lec­tions were played by her nephew, Dale Har­ring­ton. At­tend­ing the fu­neral were a group of her close friends; present and re­tired staff of Char­lot­te­town Ru­ral High School; her sis­ter Shawna John­ston’s nurs­ing school class­mates; nurs­ing staff of Prince County Hos­pi­tal; and mem­bers of the Spring Val­ley WI. Urn bearer was Alan Cot­ton. Flower­bear­ers were Norma Wall, Heather Stead, Bon­nie Roger­son and Ch­eryl Ham­mill. In­ter­ment was in St. Stephen’s Angli­can Church Ceme­tery, Ir­ish­town.
