FREEDOM OF THE CITY PARADE

A parade celebrating the city’s trust in its military will be held next week in Charlottetown. The granting of the Freedom of the City is the highest honour a city can bestow. The cadets from the Argonaut Cadet Training Centre will parade to city hall at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22. A section of Queen Street between Fitzroy and Kent streets will be closed to traffic from 9:30 a.m. until noon. Parking will be also restricted those streets from 5 a.m. to noon.
