Woman sentenced for impaired driving

A 55-year-old woman from Borden-Carleton was sentenced recently following a guilty plea to one charge of impaired driving. Debbie Anne McMaurrer was originally charged on April 25 in Albany. She was sentenced to serve five days in jail, pay a $1,500 fine, pay a $450 victim surcharge and is prohibited from driving for 12 months.
