Woman sen­tenced for im­paired driv­ing

A 55-year-old woman from Bor­den-Car­leton was sen­tenced re­cently fol­low­ing a guilty plea to one charge of im­paired driv­ing. Deb­bie Anne McMau­r­rer was orig­i­nally charged on April 25 in Albany. She was sen­tenced to serve five days in jail, pay a $1,500 fine, pay a $450 vic­tim sur­charge and is pro­hib­ited from driv­ing for 12 months.
