Self-promotion top priority?

-

June 30, 2015 was Gilles Arsenault’s last day on the job and it couldn’t happen too soon. Mr. Arsenault appeared to be into the self-promotion game instead of doing a good job as federation president. While holding his job as president he campaigned to be the Liberal candidate for Egmont without permission from the membership and no leave of absence due to arrogance and ignorance. He lost.

Next he applies for a job with the Department of Education while still serving as union president and wins the job to start in September. This guy knows how to feather his own nest first and foremost. He may have been popular with members who didn’t show much intelligence by having him serve a second term as president.
