“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” is a two-act musical comedy conceived by Rebecca Feldman with music and lyrics by William Finn, the book by Rachel Sheinkin and additional material by Jay Reiss. It played on Broadway in New York City in 2005 and 2007.

Volunteers from the audience are invited to be part of the show. This adds lots of fun, improvisational moments. During the show’s run on Broadway in 2007, Julie Andrews missed “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” when she was a guest speller.

Tickets for the show are available at the Kings Playhouse box office, 5 Grafton St., Georgetown or by calling 902-652-2053.
