Darren Frost to take stage at The Guild

-

Comedian Darren Frost is bringing his cross-Canada tour Darkness Within Tour to P.E.I. tonight at The Guild.

Doors open at 10 p.m. with the show starting at 10:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the box office and online from their website.

“Frost's standup has the quality of a satanic revival meeting. He brings so much bile and venom to the stage it can be overwhelming. Frost is at his best when he tempers his barbs with a little finesse and ast night he showed this technique off to great effect. He is considered to be among the most daring comedians in Canada,” writes the Toronto Star.

The award-winning comedian is currently touring celebrating the release of his online store Comedywhorestore.com which includes his box set The Darkness Within: 25 hours of uncensored comedy. He is the only comedian in Canada to independently release four full length standup comedy DVD's.

Frost will be accompanied by Dan Hendricken, who is originally from P.E.I. and now makes his home in Halifax where he has been performing stand up comedy for two years. He won the Hubcap Comedy festival's open mike contes, taped a set for Halifax Comedy Fest and appeared on CBC radio's program LOL with local comedic heavy weights Patrick Ledwell and Francois Webber which has been playing locally.

The audience will also be treated to Eric Payne, who just finished a Maritime swing through Fredericton and Saint John. He also has been producing sold out shows here in Charlottetown in various locations and has been traveling and performing for Yuk Yuks international on tour.
