Proven Desire shines in Atlantic Sires Stakes racing

A poor post position did not bother Proven Desire on Friday night.

Despite starting from the grandstand side Post 8 Proven Desire won the first of two A divisions of the Atlantic Sires Stakes for three-year-old pacing colts at Red Shores at Summerside Raceway. Driver and trainer Marc Campbell was in the bike for the 1:55.4 mile a new race-win record. The Kevin MacLeantrained Dixieland Band won the other $13,220 A event in 1:57.2.
