-

Courts had ordered them to stay apart but they would not, so Charlottetown Police Services had to be called Tuesday night. The call came at 10:17 p.m. regarding an assault that occurred at an address on Edward Street. Police arrested and charged a 33-year-old Charlottetown area woman with assaulting a man. Both the woman and the man, who police did not identify, are also facing charges of not obeying the court order to have no contact with each other. The police report said the male victim sustained minor injuries, and both individuals are known to each other.
