Having a garden party
Lieutenant Governor Frank Lewis, second left, and his wife, Dorothy, not shown, hosted their annual garden party at Fanningbank Wednesday. Some of the guests were Sir Thomas D'Arcy McGee and Mrs. Susan Gray, wife of Premier John Hamilton Gray, right. The actors are members of the Confederation Players. The event gives the public a chance to tour Fanningbank and its gardens and chat with Lewis and his wife. Strawberries and ice cream along with many other delicious food was served and music was provided by the Front Porch T-D Jazz band.
