Thief strikes in Stratford

Queens District RCMP are asking Stratford residents to be extra vigilant after a rash of break ins in the community.
The RCMP said a single male has been cutting screens of open windows, pushing the windows open and entering residences.
No one has been hurt or come into contact with the burglar.
The thief has stolen cash, but no other items have been confirmed missing.
RCMP officers are interviewing victims and working with the province’s criminal intelligence services to profile the thief.
The police are asking homeowners to be extra vigilant about securing their properties by making sure doors and windows are locked, and providing outside lighting.
Charlottetown police have also noticed similar types of break and enters and are working with the RCMP.
