- MUSICIAN

Souris Live is welcoming the Amanda Jackson Band back to Souris to perform at The Centre Stage, 14 Hebrew Ave., Souris’ newest concert venue, on Saturday, July 25 at 8 p.m.

This act is proving to be a must-see in P.E.I., packing venues to sold-out crowds with standing ovations asking for more.

The Amanda Jackson Band combines one of the most powerful voices on the East Coast with a creative force of musical accompaniment including Jackson on vocals, Dale McKie on guitar and harmonica, Todd MacLean on sax, piano and guitar and Reggie Ballagh on percussion.

“This powerful collaboration will take you on a magical journey drenched in soul, blues and song-story through their original material as well as a few surprise covers,” says a release.

Jackson’s roots are in Souris, and organizers are expecting a full house.

“People haven’t stopped talking about their wildly successful show in Souris last year and are determined not to miss it this time,” says a release.

Tickets are in advance, as well as at the door (subject to availability).

They can also be purchased online at www.sourisliveinc.com and at Evergreen Café and Wellness Centre, 95 Main St., Souris.
