Amy & Rachel Beck at the Trailside tonight

Amy & Rachel Beck will be playing the Trailside Café & Inn in Mount Stewart this evening.

It’s hard to beat the harmonic intuition of sisters. Amy and Rachel Beck began singing together around the family piano in Montague, but they now share their folksy pop with an ever-expanding Canadian audience.

The Beck Sisters recently celebrated the release of their multi award-nominated sophomore album, “Run”, produced by Tim Chaisson.

After the birth of Rachel’s daughter in March, the Beck sisters jumped into a busy summer schedule, including the P.E.I. Mutual Festival of Small Halls, the Stan Rogers Folk Festival and the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Concert Series. Now back on red soil, they are set to play the charming Trailside Café and Inn.

“Its always an interesting show with Amy and Rachel” says owner Pat Deighan, “a mix of amazing harmonies, great songs and some very cool percussive playing.”
