Woman charged after New Year’s Eve crash

A 36-year-old Charlottetown woman is facing impaired driving charges after a collision on New Year’s Eve.

Charlottetown police received a complaint at 10 p.m. about a motor vehicle collision and possible impaired driver on Acadian Drive.

After attending the scene the police determined one of the drivers was impaired.

The police arrested the 36-year-old woman and charged her with impaired driving.

She will appear in court at a later date.
