The fu­neral for Fran­cis (Frankie) Camp­bell, of Maple Plains, was held on Satur­day, Jan­uary 9, 2016 from Kinkora Place, Kinkora, to St. Malachy's Church, Kinkora, where fu­neral mass was cel­e­brated at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Joseph Pal­liy­o­dil, who pro­claimed the Gospel and de­liv­ered the homily. The pall was placed on the cas­ket by brothers and sis­ters: Ernest Leo Camp­bell, Charles Camp­bell, Anna Marie Sul­li­van and He­lena Arse­nault. Cross bearer was Co­lette Stordy. Mass servers were Karen McKenna and Frank McCar­dle. The first scrip­ture read­ing was pro­claimed by Shel­ley Arse­nault and the se­cond scrip­ture read­ing was pro­claimed by Neville Lawless. Prayers of the Faith­ful were led by Donna MacLeod. St. Malachy's Parish choir, as­sisted by choir mem­bers from St. Peter's Parish, Seven Mile Bay and St. Joseph's Parish, Kelly's Cross, sang the en­trance hymn, Peace Is Flow­ing Like a River; of­fer­tory hymn, Amaz­ing Grace; com­mu­nion hymn, Come to the Wa­ters; and re­ces­sional hymns, The Old Rugged Cross and Sing to The Moun­tain. Or­gan­ist was Car­rie Ann Rogers. Com­mu­nion lay dis­trib­u­tors were Leonard Keefe and An­drew Lawless. Ush­ers were David and Michael Duffy. Hon­orary pall­bear­ers were his fam­ily mem­bers and many friends as well as all who were in at­ten­dance at the ser­vice. Pall­bear­ers were Brian Arse­nault, Brian Cameron, Brian Duffy, Arthur MacDon­ald, Del­mar MacKin­non and Dar­ren Pe­ters. Flower­bear­ers were Car­leigh and Mandy MacLeod. At­tend­ing the fu­neral were mem­bers of the Maple Leaf Se­niors. In­ter­ment was in the parish ceme­tery with Fr. Joseph of­fi­ci­at­ing. Ar­range­ments were en­trusted to Lawless Fu­neral Home, Kinkora.
