The Sky Fam­ily per­forms Jan. 30 at New Glas­gow Chris­tian Church

ECMA nom­i­nees The Sky Fam­ily will be per­form­ing their high-en­ergy Celtic/pop-rock mu­sic, dance and gospel pro­duc­tion Celtic Re­vival on Satur­day, Jan. 30, 7 p.m. (storm date, Jan. 31), at New Glas­gow Chris­tian Church, 617 Route 258 (across from the New Glas­gow Lob­ster Sup­pers build­ing).

De­light­ing au­di­ences from coast to coast across the U.S. and Canada, the Sky Fam­ily’s pro­duc­tion, Celtic Re­vival!, brings world-class Ir­ish dance to lively Celtic/pop-rock mu­sic and songs rich in har­monies.

“Wo­ven through­out are hu­mor­ous sto­ries and in­spi­ra­tional tes­ti­monies,” says a re­lease. “The pro­gram is en­gag­ing for the whole fam­ily. From lit­tle ones to grand­par­ents and all ages be­tween ev­ery­one en­joys the good hu­mor and high-step­ping dance. Each mem­ber per­forms on sev­eral in­stru­ments and all con­trib­ute to the rich vo­cal har­monies and dance.”

Ad­mis­sion is free, but a freewill of­fer­ing will be taken. All pro­ceeds go to Open Door Out­reach with an hon­o­rar­ium for the Sky Fam­ily.

Open Door Out­reach is a faith-based or­ga­ni­za­tion work­ing for 10 years with women in P.E.I. who are ad­dicted and in­car­cer­ated. Come early as the church has seat­ing for 150 peo­ple. The venue is also wheel­chair ac­ces­si­ble.


The Sky Fam­ily will per­form in a fundraiser for Open Door Min­istries on Jan. 30 at New Glas­gow Chris­tian Church.
