Man charged in shoot­ing gets court date

The case of a Pleas­ant Grove man charged in con­nec­tion with a shoot­ing in­ci­dent last month has been ad­journed for one month. Matthew Brian Misener is sched­uled to ap­pear in court on Feb. 22 for elec­tion. He has been charged with ag­gra­vated as­sault in con­nec­tion with a shoot­ing in­ci­dent early Christ­mas morn­ing in which two men suf­fered gun­shot wounds. One of those men was treated at hos­pi­tal and re­leased, while the other was trans­ported to hos­pi­tal in Hal­i­fax for fur­ther treat­ment. Misener re­mains in cus­tody.
