Man charged in shooting gets court date

The case of a Pleasant Grove man charged in connection with a shooting incident last month has been adjourned for one month. Matthew Brian Misener is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 22 for election. He has been charged with aggravated assault in connection with a shooting incident early Christmas morning in which two men suffered gunshot wounds. One of those men was treated at hospital and released, while the other was transported to hospital in Halifax for further treatment. Misener remains in custody.
