Man jailed for 111 days

A 19-year-old Prince County man has been sen­tenced to serve 111 days in jail af­ter plead­ing guilty to sev­eral charges.

Kale Lewis MacAus­land, who, ac­cord­ing to court doc­u­ments, had no fixed ad­dress at the time his pa­per­work was pro­cessed, pleaded guilty to the charges against him on Jan. 6. Those charges in­cluded as­sault caus­ing bod­ily harm, re­sist­ing a Sum­mer­side po­lice of­fi­cer, break­ing and en­ter­ing into the Kens­ing­ton liquor store, fail­ing to at­tend court and two counts of breach­ing a court un­der­tak­ing.

MacAus­land re­ceived credit for 25 days al­ready served in cus­tody.

All the of­fences oc­curred be­tween Septem­ber and De­cem­ber of 2015.
