Man jailed for 111 days

A 19-year-old Prince County man has been sentenced to serve 111 days in jail after pleading guilty to several charges.

Kale Lewis MacAusland, who, according to court documents, had no fixed address at the time his paperwork was processed, pleaded guilty to the charges against him on Jan. 6. Those charges included assault causing bodily harm, resisting a Summerside police officer, breaking and entering into the Kensington liquor store, failing to attend court and two counts of breaching a court undertakin­g.

MacAusland received credit for 25 days already served in custody.

All the offences occurred between September and December of 2015.
