Fundraisers
A pancake breakfast is Saturday, Jan. 23, at Park Royal Church gymnasium, Charlottetown, 8:30-10:30 a.m. Enjoy pancakes, scrambled eggs, Riverside Market fresh sausages, tea, coffee, apple juice and orange juice. The price is $8 for adults, $4 children under 12 or $20 per family. Opening The donation centre of the Welcome Project
is reopening Saturdays only, beginning Jan. 23 9 a.m.-2 p.m., until further notice. It is a support network of community organizations and various levels of government collaborating to assist Syrian refugee families with their settlement on P.E.I. The centre is at 1 Queen St. in Charlottetown, in the former Coast Guard Warehouse (at the foot of Queen St. across from the Delta Hotel). A hot chocolate study break is Saturday, Jan. 23, 2 p.m. at the Teen Space, Confederation Centre Public Library. Teens are invited to take a study break and enjoy some delicious hot chocolate samples.
